Hope you are good. As I write to you, I'm in deep pain and anguish. I really need your advice.

I really try my best. I try to meet and talk to girls. Usually I succeed but I don't understand what's really wrong with me. Recently I had asked a girl out, but she said I'm too nerdy. Apparently because I'm studying for a masters, I read too many books. She said that I am boring, nerdy, and too strict about 'minor' issues.

Unfortunately this is not the first time I'm heard these comments. What can I possibly do? I seem to be literally driving girls away, yet I have good personal hygiene, dress smartly and I even work out! It seems all the girls, even at church, think I'm too 'nerdy' and boring. What can I do? I don't want to die alone

My guess is that you are asking the wrong type of girls out. What sorts of "minor" issues are we talking about?

When you do talk with girls, does the conversation revolve around you and the things you are doing or do you discuss things the girls are interested in? Keep in mind that "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others" (Philippians 2:3-4) applies to all relationships, including boyfriend and girlfriend.
