I'm 18 and I took the Tanner Calculator Test and got a 4.8. My concern is that I have never ejaculated semen in my life. Is this normal?

I masturbate once every two weeks to control my urges as I feel more sexual. However, when I do orgasm nothing, absolutely nothing, comes out of my penis. I did have pre-cum but that was literally once in a while. I am really worried and I want to have kids when I marry.

There is something wrong. Since you are getting sexual urges periodically, that seems to indicate that you are producing semen. Since those urges diminish after orgasm, it would indicate that you are releasing semen -- it just isn't coming out immediately.

The condition is called dry orgasm, but there are numerous causes. One possibility is that you hare having retrograde ejaculations. Instead of the semen coming out of the urethra, it is going backwards and up into your bladder. If this is the case, the next time you urinate after an orgasm, your urine will be cloudy. Usually this is a problem that strikes older men.

The problem is that all of this is guess work. You are correct that having this condition will keep you from being able to have children. Therefore, the best thing to do is to see an urologist and have a your reproductive system checked out. Hopefully a correctable cause can be found.

I did suspect it was retrograde ejaculation, but I am not certain that is the case because when I pee, my urine is yellow, clear and not cloudy. Could it be that my seminal vesicles are obstructed or just not producing semen? After my orgasm I sometimes feel pain and want to press down the area between the buttocks and scrotum. Then it just disappears and I get normal erections in the morning.

Did God punish me for watching porn? I used to watch it, but that was two months ago. I now control myself by masturbating once or even up to three times every two weeks. However, the problems persist.

As I mentioned, because you are having cycles of sexual urges and because orgasm is lowering those urges, it would appear that you are producing semen. Where it is going is something a doctor is going to have check to find out.

No, this is not a punishment from God, though you should not be watching pornography because that is sinful. See: Lies Pornography Tells Men and A Look at Pornography.

If I have to guess, I would suspect a birth defect where the urethra has a hole in it.

I don't think my urethra has a hole in it; however, I keep sqeezing my buttocks muscles to stop the pain. Should I continue masturbating? You said in another question that if a boy doesn't produce semen he is only chasing after the pleasure and not the need. I think that the temptation of porn has greatly lessened because I masturbate. I just don't want to go to the doctor because my parents might ask, so I guess I will delay this until marriage. Is that a good idea or is this an urgent concern to my health?

Your web site is a great help.

In regards to the other answer, it was given to a boy who was masturbating prior to development. You are near the end of your development. It is a different situation.

What I was saying is that I suspect that your semen is going somewhere, and the pain is an indication of that. The most likely cause is a hole somewhere behind the prostate gland, but there can be other explanations, so a doctor needs to check.

While it isn't urgent -- after all you have been living with it so far, I would not recommend putting this off, especially not because of embarrassment. The sooner the problem is repaired, the sooner you will heal. And if this is something that cannot be fixed, then your lack of fertility is something you will have to discuss with your future fiancee because she will have to decide whether not being able to have your children matters to her or not. That is not an issue to consider after marriage.
