Is it normal for someone my age at 16 to not be able to produce precum? I was able to ejaculate semen at 14 but not able to produce precum.
Pre-ejaculate fluid (precum) is produced by the Cowper's glands. Semen is produced by the seminal vesicles. It is not unusual for one set of glands to develop before the other set.
In addition, the Cowper's glands produce pre-ejaculate fluid in response to sexual stimulation, but the amount produced can vary between individual men. Some produce a lot and some a little. To see pre-ejaculate fluid, you have to produce enough to fill up your urethra (the tube in your penis) so that the excess spills out.
