An attached piece of skin seems to keep me from only pulling my foreskin about halfway down my glans

Question:

When I pull back my foreskin there seems to be a piece of skin attaching the foreskin directly to the head. I’ve read the other article which talks about the exercise; however, I can only pull my foreskin back to about halfway down the head of my penis, any further and the piece of skin attaching the foreskin to the head causes severe discomfort. What confuses me the most is that it’s not the entire foreskin that’s attached to the head but a small flab that’s very well attached. Everything else seems to be detached from the head.

Answer:

The exercise where you pull your foreskin forward (away from the body) as far as you comfortably can work in many cases, but there are always exceptions. I usually suggest trying it first because if it works, then it saves the expense of seeing a doctor.

Since it doesn’t appear to be working in your case, you are best off seeing a doctor. He should be able to perform minor surgery to separate the foreskin from the glans. You will find a few doctors who rather suggest circumcision than to directly address the problem. The problem you are having doesn’t require circumcision to correct. You do need something done because you will find sexual intercourse when you get married to be painful if you leave things as they are.
