Can a girl become pregnant if semen gets on her outer clothing?

Question:

Can a girl become pregnant if semen gets on her outer clothing and she is in the bright sun in the middle of the day? Is it possible for sperm to cause pregnancy in this case? If semen touches her undergarments, is it possible that the sperm will swim in? We didn’t have intercourse. I didn’t touch my penis to her vagina, it just happened that semen came out and fell on her outer clothing.

Please mail me, it’s urgent.

Answer:

Whenever a man releases semen around a woman, the odds of her becoming pregnant can never be stated as being “impossible.” In your case, if you described the situation accurately is extremely low; that is, it is unlikely to happen. However, pregnancy is not the problem. The problem is that you are sinning.

For the situation to happen, it means you were engaged in sexual stimulation and touching with this girl because a man cannot ejaculate semen without it.

Sexual stimulation and touching are called foreplay. It is a part of sex that gets a man and woman’s body ready for intercourse. Even though you did not put your penis into her vagina, you were engaged in the activity that leads up to that event. Putting your penis into a woman to whom you are not married is a sin (called “fornication.”). Doing the activities leading up to fornication is also sinful because in your mind you are desiring to do what is sinful to do. “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). The apostle Paul said, “It is good for a man not to touch a woman” (I Corinthians 7:1). By that, he is not talking about a casual touch, such as holding hands, but sexual touching, such as what you were doing with this girl.

Solomon warned, “Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be seared? So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent” (Proverbs 6:27-29). You are playing with sexual fire. Somehow you have convinced yourself that as long keep your penis out of her, you can play around with it. The problem is that eventually, you are going to get careless. Eventually, you are going to convince yourself that it won’t “hurt” to go just a little bit further. Eventually, you will go too far.

You can’t claim to be innocent because you knew you were sexually stimulating yourself. Even in this event you are trying to hide from the truth. You said that your semen just happened to end up on her clothing. You are trying to make it sound like it was an accident. Sex doesn’t just happens accidentally. The sexual touching and stimulation you were engaged in was purposely done. Of course you are going to ejaculate, so don’t pretend that it was an accident.

Since your semen got on her clothing, it means you had your penis exposed, so that means you were not properly clothed. That too could not be accidental. It is not right or proper for a man to be showing his genitals to a woman to whom he is not married. Your nakedness is to be kept hidden. In condemning Israel, the prophet Habakkuk compared their sins to people getting drunk. “Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor, pressing him to your bottle, even to make him drunk, that you may look on his nakedness! You are filled with shame instead of glory. You also drink! And be exposed as uncircumcised! The cup of the LORD’S right hand will be turned against you, and utter shame will be on your glory” (Habakkuk 2:15-16). Drunkenness is sinful, but exposing your genitals is also shameful. What’s sad is that you don’t see the same in pulling down your pants in front of a girl. “Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time I punish them, they shall be cast down,” says the LORD” (Jeremiah 6:15).
