In many countries, marriages are arranged by parents or by third parties, but that is not the norm in western cultures. In America and European countries, a man is expected to find his own woman and then prove himself worthy of her. This is why the American family you are with declines to do what you should be doing yourself in their view.
If you wish to leave your country, then you should learn what is required to either change your citizenship or to live and work in another country. These rules are rarely easy. No country wants to lose its citizens and no country can handle a massive influx of people from elsewhere in the world. It isn’t impossible to move, just difficult and it takes a lot of dedicated effort to transform yourself into someone another country would desire to have among its citizens.
Limiting your choices to a Christian woman is a good plan. Marriages rarely work well when the husband and wife have different views about religion. But restricting yourself to only people from a particular country is artificially narrowing your choices. You may not find a woman that meets your narrow terms. You might ignore a very good potential wife because you are blind to the fact that she exists.
To find a good woman to marry you have to be at places where good women frequent. You need to show that you are a good companion and can be a good provider. It is the husband’s responsibility to provide for his family. “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (I Timothy 5:8). Therefore, any concern about your future wife’s income is completely misplaced.
