Do I have much growth left?

Question:

I wonder how much growth I have left. I am 184 cm (6 ft 0.5) and an 18-year-old male. Physically, my shoulders are relatively broad. My pubic hair is relatively thick — it extends to my belly button. I have hair on my arms and a lot on my legs. But besides that, there isn’t much body hair aside from fine hair. I had stretch marks from 12 or 13 and looking at photos, it seems like I had a growth spurt at that age but I am not entirely sure. I am not sure when I reached puberty but it was probably at 10. I still have acne, though. My facial hair is weak, but I could grow a very faint mustache at 13 already. I have put on a lot of weight and widened — I was underweight in the past — however, I still have the lanky look. I still experience a bit of pain in my legs and sometimes my back. So I don’t know if I am still growing or not. But I was already 180 cm by 14 and 183 cm by 15 it seems. My appetite is also strong but I am not sure whether it’s a sign I will experience another growth spurt or just that I am developing horizontally and filling out. I still feel quite lanky and uncoordinated.

Answer:

From your description, you reached stage 5 about two years ago. You don’t have any growth in height left. What is happening now is that you are building muscles, which also takes energy. You also need to be aware that your metabolism will soon slow down. If you aren’t careful, you will lose your lanky look and become chubby.
