Stage five technically lasts the rest of your life. It is the adult stage. However, there are continued changes at the beginning of stage five. For example, your facial and body hair continues to develop for several years. And there are mental changes as well. A classic example is that your ability to judge risks accurately doesn’t fully develop until your mid-twenties.
