Hello,
If someone is reading this, please do not hate me. I am already rejected by society, and I am doomed.
I am a homosexual guy. It all started at the age of 9. I had a gay cousin and we used to gay kiss each other. The worse started at the age of 13 when we started soft sex. At the age of 16, I made a gay social network account. One of my schoolmates saw my nude pics and the whole school knew about my homosexuality.
I hated myself since then. I told my cousin that I don’t want to have sex anymore and that I want to change myself. Now I am 17 and I don’t have sex anymore, but I am still attracted to men which makes me feel sick. I am suffering from such a sin.
Help me getting over my homosexuality, please.
p.s. I wrote too many details so homosexuals would take care before time is up. I am so scared of God. I don’t want to be hated.

I’ve always wondered why people promoting homosexuality tell everyone that Christians hate homosexuals. My only conclusion is that they don’t want them to hear the lovely message that people can and do change.
It is true that Christians take a stand against sins. I teach that homosexuality is wrong, but I also teach that fornication and adultery are equally wrong. But Christianity is not about condemning people but urging people out of sins so that they won’t stand condemned before God. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God” (I Corinthians 6:9-11). Take special note of the last sentence. There were former homosexuals in the church at Corinth — former because they changed and they were no longer homosexuals.
“But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?” (Ezekiel 18:21-23).
You’ve started the process of changing. You no longer practice homosexuality, so it isn’t proper to call yourself a homosexual. Such would be equivalent to a person calling himself a thief because years ago he stole something. The point is that you’ve changed your attitude toward homosexuality and you have changed your behavior.
Of course, you will continue to be tempted by homosexuality. Satan found a weakness, and he isn’t going to give up on you that easily. But there is nothing wrong with being tempted. Everyone faces temptations. Even Jesus was tempted. Where it goes wrong is when you mentally accept what Satan is offering and start thinking about how the sin could be justified or gotten away with. When that happens, you are getting involved in lust, which is sinful.
