Is it normal to touch another boy?

Question:

Hi there,

I am 12 years old and have pubic hair, erections, and can ejaculate. I came by to ask a question: Is it normal for me to be touching another boy, as I have been doing it recently?

Thank you for your help.

Answer:

The Bible states that sex is only for husbands and wives. “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge” (Hebrews 13:4). Thus, the actions that lead up to sex are also restricted to married couples, such as sexual touching. “Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman” (I Corinthians 7:1).

For one boy to be sexually touching another boy is the beginning of homosexuality (two guys having sex). This is wrong because they are not married and because two men cannot biblically get married. “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due” (Romans 1:26-27). Men are not designed by God to have sex with other men. Doing so is going against the natural order of God’s purpose.

Thus, it isn’t a question of whether it is normal for one boy to touch another boy in a sexual way. The real question should be is such an action acceptable to God, and that answer is “no.” What you have been doing is considered a sin.
