Today I had a wet dream, and I’ve been horny almost all day. It doesn’t make any sense either, since I had already ejaculated today. Should I be worried?
Answer:
A wet dream is triggered when your seminal vesicles are getting full. Your body releases the excess semen while you are dreaming. However, each time you ejaculate you do not completely empty your seminal vesicles. Therefore, if you were really full, your wet dream might only take you down to mostly full. Especially when it has been a while since your last ejaculation, your body gets into a mode of “let’s get rid of as much semen as we can because who knows when the next chance will come.” Thus, it isn’t unusual for a guy to have cycles of several days in a row with wet dreams followed by a longer period of no wet dreams.
