Question:
I have 5 small red bumps above my groin and two of them had puss in them the rest are just red. What do you think it is?
Answer:
The most likely cause is just plain acne. You can get acne anywhere on your skin, including on your groin. After the next time you bathe, get a small cotton ball soaked with some hydrogen peroxide and liberally wipe the area. It will sting a bit and foam up white, but what it does is kill surface germs. Let the area dry and then get dressed. Don’t dress while it is still damp as hydrogen peroxide can bleach out color from clothing. You should see improvement within a few days. If not, let me know and we’ll try something else.

Thank you for the advice.
