Question:
I need help. Yesterday my girlfriend and I were “mutual masturbating” or however it’s called. The thing is, when she was masturbating me, I didn’t completely ejaculate, but I think I had pre-ejaculate or something, and she had little sperm on her hand or fingers — I can’t remember exactly. We stopped after that and we both went to the bathroom. But, when she was in the bathroom, she told me that she thinks she forgot to wash her hands and she started touching herself, and she put her finger a bit in to get wet, like, to the entrance of the vagina or whatever it’s called. Can she be pregnant? I mean, she didn’t clean herself. Maybe the sperm could’ve wiped off when she opened and closed the door, put down the toilet seat, and put her hands on the pants do drop them? Are there chances she could get pregnant from that? We’re totally freaking out. She said after she did that, she cleaned herself with one piece of toilet paper but didn’t really completely clean it, I don’t know.
Answer:
I can’t answer with any precision about the situation because your note is load with uncertainty. But let’s talk about the situation in general.
What you and your girlfriend were doing is called “lewdness” or “sensuality” in the Bible. It basically means you two were acting more like unthinking animals than like human beings. “Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts” (Romans 13:13-14). Even though you did not put your penis into her, you were involved in a form of fornication (a type of sex without being married).
I assume you were dripping pre-ejaculate fluid. That fluid can contain sperm. Usually, it is not many, but it isn’t necessarily no sperm. The odds go much higher if you started to orgasm, which releases semen, which contains hundreds of thousands of sperm. Sperm doesn’t care how it reaches the vagina and once there sperm have tales that allow them to swim at surprisingly fast rates. It only takes one sperm cell reaching the egg at the right time to get a girl pregnant.
The odds are heavily against her getting pregnant, but whenever sex is taking place — whatever its form — the odds are never zero. The chance is always there. Consider too that the temptation is to go further in sin each time you do it. At the rate you are going, your penis is going to end up in her.
What is absolutely certain is that both of you have put your souls in danger by sinning. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9-10). Your job as a man is to protect your girlfriend, not use her as your personal plaything.
