Question:
I’m still confused even though I’ve gone through your notes on crooked penises. I actually want to be sure of mine. Hence, I’m sending you a picture of my organ. It’s to be noted here that it is 17 cm (6.7 inches) in length and 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) in girth while fully erect. I’m 20 years of age. Is this a suitable one? And is the crookedness serious?
Answer:
As mentioned before, a perfectly straight erect penis is rare. Natural variations in the internal structures will cause mild bends. Yours bends just slightly to the left. This won’t cause problems in the future with sex when you get married.
When Peyronie’s disease is mentioned, it refers to a severe bend in the penis, as illustrated by this image on the left. The bend can be in any direction. The bend can be so severe that the end of the penis points back to the body, having a “U” shape.
Along with the severe bend there are other symptoms as well. Often there is pain when having an erection, though that pain decreases after several years. You can also feel a lump or hard spot on the inside curve of the bend — even when the penis is flaccid. The hard area is the scar tissue formed from the damage to the internal structures of the penis.
Even when you are fully erect, your penis still has some flexibility. In addition, your wife’s vagina has a great deal of flexibility. You won’t have any difficulties with having intercourse beyond the usual awkwardness when people first have sex.
