Now that I’m near the end of stage 3, will I grow anymore?

Question:

I’m 16 and my height is 5’4. I was 5’3 three months ago. My dad is 5’3 and my mom is 5’2 and my sister is 5’5. I used the Tanner Stage Calculator multiple times. It ranged from Stage 3.8 to 4.

I have a good amount of pubic hair but the hair on my groin is light and is in strands. I do have hair on my scrotum. My testicles are 2 cm in width and length. I have thin armpit hair and a good amount of hair on my arms and legs. I have hair on my upper lip and chin. I could grow faint sideburns.

Will I grow anymore?

Answer:

Growth in height stops when you reach stage 5, which will be about two years from now if your estimate is accurate. During stage 4, the rate of growth slows down, like a car slowing down until it comes to a complete stop. Most boys gain another 1 to 3 inches of growth during stage 4.
