Why was my glans oozing?

Question:

Hello minister,

I have a couple of questions that I’m confused about.

First, I noticed today my penis felt like it was oozing, and when I checked, my glans felt slimy. What could that have been? I wasn’t doing anything, it just happened. I noticed that this happens maybe every few months. Sometimes I even get stiff spots in my underwear when I wake up but not often. I have never ejaculated before.

My second question is what stage am I in? I have only grown an inch in the last 5-6 months. I know I’m at least stage 3 because I have definitely had a growth spurt.

I would expect that you’ll be at least 5’9 before it is all done, though I’m not so sure you’ll reach 5’10.

Answer:

I assume the slimy ooze was clear in color. What you are observing is pre-ejaculate fluid dripping from your penis. The fluid is produced by your Cowper’s glands whenever you are sexually aroused. It can happen, even if you don’t have an erection.

The stiff spots in your underwear would be dried semen. Therefore, you are ejaculating in your sleep. You just sleep deeply enough that you don’t wake up when it happens.

Please keep in mind that I can’t see you and you didn’t give me much information to go on. Since you had a growth spurt, you are at least halfway through stage 3. You could be in late stage 3 or early stage 4.

Question:

Thank you.

For the second question, I meant that I had a huge growth spurt starting in the summer of 2022 for almost a year. I think I grew 5 or 6 inches and I reached 5’7 and then my growth stopped until recently when I reached 5’8. The calculator says I’m in stage 3.9. Is that accurate? If I’m in stage 4, how much more could I grow? Is it likely that I’ll reach at least 5’10?

Answer:

Boys generally grow 1 to 3 inches during the two years that they are in stage 4. Most of the growth will be at the start of stage 4 and will taper off as you get closer to stage 5.

My aim for the calculator is to be within 0.3 of a boy’s actual stage, so 3.9 means you are at the end of stage 3 or the beginning of stage 4.
