Question:
Can I grow four more centimeters?
My mom is 164 cm and my dad is 175 cm. Here are my growth records:
Age | Height |
5 | 119 |
6 | 128 |
7 | 136 |
8 | 142 |
9 | 145 |
10 | 154 |
11 | 166 (doctor notes pubic hair is 2, penis is 3, testis volume is 8) |
12 | 167 |
13 | 174 |
14 | 176 |
15 | 177 |
16 | 178 |
Did I have precocious puberty? When I was in fifth and sixth grade, the doctor said I was developing well but didn’t mention that I had precocious puberty.
Answer:
Precocious puberty means that a boy is showing signs of puberty before he is nine years old. From your records, you were in stage 3 at the age of 11. That is on the early side of the normal range, but not so early as to be called precocious.
Judging from your growth, it looks like you were in stage 4 around age 13, so you are basically nearing stage 5 or already there now. It is highly unlikely you will grow much more (unless it is a fraction of a centimeter).
