Question:
Hi
I am 19. It seems like I get a lot of erections, and I get one anytime I wear pajamas. I am wondering why this is. Should I wear pajamas, and eventually, the erections will quit?
Answer:
Erections are a common problem during adolescence and can continue into young adulthood. The problem is that your body is learning when erections are needed, and they often come when they are not needed. In this case, they are likely coming because you typically wear pajamas at night. Erections happen more frequently when you are sleepy. Repeated exposure to situations that cause erections can reduce the frequency of erections simply because the body cannot retain erections for long periods. However, they won’t completely stop.
