Question:
Hi,
I’m a nearly 16-year-old teenager. I don’t know for certain when my puberty hit, but I’m sure I never ejaculated proper semen until I was at least nearing turning 14.
I am currently starting to grow light chest hair. My legs have a lot of hair, but it’s not heavy or dark in color. My arms have really fine hair. My mustache is becoming browner week by week, as my hair is black, and my chin is starting to show some strands. Nothing around the ears, and my pimples were never horrible, just some here and there.
I have really good habits for growth. I grew 3 cm in the last 5 months, and I’ve been having bad growth pains at night, around the left part behind my knee. My Tanner estimation always indicates a stage around 3.7 or 3.9. Can I grow around 10 cm more? And is it scientifically possible for me to grow even more?
Thank you for your time. God bless.
Answer:
Boys entering stage 4 typically grow 2 to 8 cm (1 to 3 inches) more during this stage. Since your estimated stage hasn’t reached stage 4 yet, it is technically possible, but I would consider it a remote chance.
