How much more do you think I will grow?

Question:

Hi,

I’m a 14-year-old male. My current height is 177 cm, and my weight is 152 lbs. My mom’s height is 168 cm, and my dad’s height is 181 cm. I took the Tanner test, which shows I’m at Tanner stage 4.1.

I would like to know whether I will grow any more in height. I have a thin mustache and chin hair. Hair has started growing under my chin. I started getting acne in the last 2-3 weeks. I have thick pubic hair, but they don’t reach the inner thighs yet. I have noticeable hair on my legs and arms, but it’s not very thick. There is a faint line of hair coming from my pubes to my navel. My Adam’s Apple has become noticeable in the last 6 months, and my voice is deeper. My growth has slowed down since last year. I may have gained only 2-3 cm in the last 7-8 months. I just want to know how much exactly I stand to grow from here.

Answer:

Growth in height doesn’t end until you have reached stage 5. Boys typically grow 2 to 8 cm during the two years they are in stage 4. The KGH method for predicting height says you will end up between 180 and 190 cm, with 185 cm the most likely final height.
