Question:
I have a big lump on the lower shaft of my penis where my pubes are. It really stings whenever I touch it and I have to be careful not to bring my leg up too high when I’m walking or something or else it will hurt. Is this normal?
Answer:
Is the lump on the shaft or on your groin? If on your shaft, is it red, does it have a head, and how long has it been there?
But no, having a painful lump is not normal.
Response:
I just noticed it this morning. It doesn’t hurt very much, it only stings a little when I touch it. It is red and looks like a large wart with a very small scab on it. I noticed a similar thing like that about a week before on my face and on my hip, but they are gone now. They don’t hurt and you can barely notice they were there.
Never mind, I found out what it was. It’s a skin infection called Molluscum Contagiosum and it is not harmful and usually leaves within a month. Sorry to bother you.
