I made a big mistake and had a little intercourse. Could she be pregnant?

Question:

Hello Sir,

I made a big mistake. My girlfriend and I were having a little intercourse, but I didn’t stick it in her vagina. We were planning to do anal and we kind of did it. Before we did anything I checked my glans like six times to see if I’d pre-ejaculated because I didn’t want to put it near her vagina, even though it was. Now I feel like she’s pregnant. We did what we did two weeks ago and her period started Sunday. This morning she said she was bleeding a lot and felt drowsy when she took off her pad and she said that it feels like there’s a baby in her. Could she be right? She doesn’t think she’s pregnant, but for some reason I do. We’re both Christians, love God very much, and repented for what we’ve done.

Here are my questions: Could I get a girl pregnant if I ejaculate in her mouth? Is there a possibility that she’s pregnant? What are the symptoms of pregnancy? Do girls really have their last menstrual period which is the starting cycle of pregnancy? She’s in her period now.

Answer

Your sins didn’t begin when you two started seeing how close you could get to vaginal intercourse without actually doing it. It started months ago when you started justifying in your thoughts that you could have sex with your girlfriend. At that point, you were engaging in lust. “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man” (Mark 7:21-23). You have been touching each other sexually, even though Paul said, “Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman” (I Corinthians 7:1). And you were behaving lewdly, which means you were acting like animals with each other.

You call it a big mistake, but I can’t help noticing that you understood what you were doing. This isn’t the description of two people caught up in passion and going too far. Sadder is that yourselves Christians while ignoring Christ’s laws. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9-10). I hope you really have repented and won’t repeat these sins.

I’m concerned that you talked about anal sex and then asked about oral sex. There are more concerns about sex than pregnancy. Diseases can be spread because the skin of the penis, the vagina, and even the rectum are thin. The rectum is full of bacteria.

In regards to your questions, if a woman gets pregnant, she will not have her next period. Typically if a woman is two weeks past due for her period, she should check to see if she is pregnant. Since your girlfriend bled after your actions, it means she is not pregnant.

Can a girl get pregnant from oral sex? Yes, it can happen because people involved in sex are rarely careful. As you know, you drip fluid before ejaculation and that can contain some sperm. Also after you ejaculate, some semen continues to drip out of the penis afterward. If that fluid gets near the vagina, there is a possibility of the sperm swimming up the vagina. It can get there from accidental dripping, cuddling where the genitals are next to each other, or even by physical introduction on fingers.
