I have a question concerning my body. Last week I noticed a pea-sized bump on the shaft of my penis. It’s a little red and hard, I tried to pop it but it didn’t. I also researched it and I really hope I’m not developing cancer.
Answer:
Penile cancer is rare, so we shouldn’t assume the worse at the beginning. Most cancers begin more subtly and cancer grows slowly. See Signs and Symptoms of Penile Cancer. Usually, if something changes and doesn’t resolve in a month, then you should have a doctor look at it.
More likely you have an acne bump on your shaft. Treat it just as you would treat acne on your face.
