Question:
Hurray, I grew a centimeter and a half in a week! Now I’ve come to a halt again on my growing, but at least I grew a little.
Answer:
Growth is not continuous. It comes in spurts. The body has to focus energy on each system that needs to grow and some things have to get in place first to support a bigger body, such as a larger heart or bigger kidneys. Yet, those support systems don’t add centimeters to your height, but their growth is essential before your overall body grows. This is why I tell people to measure once every 3 months or so. It averages out the starts and stops.
