I’m questioning my sexuality

Last updated on September 25, 2020

Would the Christian religion accept if I (well, my body) was somehow compelled to men? I was left by my old group in high school and found a couple of gamers who suit my style. I befriended one of them sincerely. He was just fooling around and he bit my neck. I enjoyed it. I was scared to admit it, but everyone saw it. My eyes were even closed in pleasure. I felt like I was going to fall. I was helpless.

Please help me. I’m questioning my sexuality: if I’m bisexual, or straight. Please help me.

PS. He is a year or two older than me.

There are several things we need to discuss. First off, homosexuality (having sex with someone who is the same gender as you) is a sin. “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due” (Romans 1:26-27).

Second, you are young enough that sexual feelings are all new. Your body is thrilled by the concept of sex and it doesn’t care what arouses those feelings. That boy acted sexually aggressive toward you and your body instinctively responded to the actions. It didn’t care that it was improper behavior, all it knew was that it was sexual behavior. That is why it felt good and you were so caught up in arousal that you felt helpless at the moment.

Third, “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent” (Proverbs 1:10). This boy is taking advantage of the fact that you are younger than he is and that you are inexperienced with sex. He wasn’t fooling around. He won’t be content to leave it at this. His goal is to use you for sex, so he will continue to do things to get you sexually aroused — the reason is that when a guy is aroused, he doesn’t think clearly. He knows that eventually, you’ll give in because sometime in the past he gave in to an older guy too.

Fourth, he is also taking advantage of your loneliness and your desire to be accepted by someone.

Fifth, Satan loves to get people to doubt when it comes to sin because then they don’t actively fight against the sin.

Thank you. I will talk to you if needed. I’ve been avoiding him since he has did that anyways.
