Is watching other guys masturbate a sin?

Last updated on September 25, 2020

Question:

Hello,

Your website has been a great source of growth in my life, but lately, I am having some questions. I just turned 17, and my height is 167 cm (5’6″). My concern is that I did not grow at all the past year. I never had a growth spurt. I completely understand that a growth spurt means that the rate of growth increases about double from my childhood growth rate, but I did not experience any. Although I can ejaculate now and I have some armpit hair and pubic hair, I am wondering if I will experience a growth spurt soon.

Also, I would like to know if looking at other guys masturbate is a sin. I am really, really tempted to watch how other people masturbate. I honestly don’t watch any nude women, but I wonder if watching other guys masturbate is a sin. I am very curious about this question because in my wet dream I saw another guy masturbating, and that was when I ejaculated.

Is there a way to know if I have any prostate problems at home?

Thank you so much!

Answer:

You cannot reach a height of 167 cm (5’6″) without experiencing a growth spurt. Children typically grow about 5 cm (2 inches) per year. Yet, even if I distribute your height across all 17 years, and assume that you started at 50 cm (20 inches long) at birth that is 6.8 cm (2.7 inches) per year. Therefore, though you don’t remember the growth spurt that growth spurt either had to have happened or is currently happening.

Yes, it is wrong to watch other people involved in private sexual acts. At a minimum, there has to be a respect for another person’s privacy and nakedness. See: Is seeing other boys in the nude all right? But this is more than just happening to see someone naked.

Wet dreams are not controllable directly. Just because you dreamed something doesn’t mean you should do it in real life.

Prostate problems are noticed because a guy is having problems urinating (and not because he is in the middle of having an erection).
