What height could I reach?

Question:

Good evening.

I am a male experiencing delayed puberty. My father stands at 6’1″ (the shortest of his brothers), my paternal grandfather was 6’2″, and my paternal grandmother was 5’9″. On my mother’s side, my grandfather was around 6’0″ or 6’1″, and my grandmother was approximately 5’11” to 6’0″. However, my mother is 5’2″, and shorter than her siblings by a large margin (all girls), of which my aunties that I know of at the moment are 5 foot 7 and 5 foot 10.

Among my siblings, I have an older sister who is 5’7″ and another older sister who is 5’4″ (she was underweight and did not eat much as a teen). My younger brother is predicted to be around 6’4″, and my younger sister, currently 10 years old and around 4’10” or 4’11”, is expected to reach 5’7″ or 5’8″.

I am two years into puberty, and over the first two years, I was 5’4″ at the start of puberty and grew 2.5 inches in the first year and 3 inches in the second. I’m now 5’9.5″ tall and starting my third year, which I anticipate will be my peak growth period. I am also currently 124 pounds.

I have been experiencing typical signs of puberty progression, such as armpit hair development starting in May, voice deepening in June with frequent cracking since July, and increased appetite and body hair, including leg hair since July and quad hair more recently. My build is narrow and lean, with a 39-inch shoulder width and a 26-inch waist. I have the same facial bones as my 8-year-old brother without seeing proper dimorphism yet (I don’t look like an 8-year-old, though), and I have visible but not fully dense pubic hair and slight arm hair development.

I apologize for writing so much, but due to my delayed puberty, I am rather anxious as to what I could grow to. Please give me a ballpark of what I may grow to in the future.

The calculators on Predicting Your Adult Height are there to answer questions like yours. You describe yourself as being in late stage 3. Your relative’s heights do not matter. You only get your genes from your parents. Plugging the values in the KGH Method, I get that you’ll be between 5’10” and 6’2″, with 6’0″ being the most likely height.
