Question:
What is a surefire sign that I’ve begun stage 4?
Answer:
There really isn’t a clear answer to this question. Stage 4 is, by definition, the period when your rate of growth has slowed down to less than 2 inches per year (childhood growth rate). However, you have to wait a year to see what your growth rate was for the last year. Perhaps the most notable early indication of stage 4 is when the strip of hair from your groin to your navel begins to be easily noticed.
Question:
I have had a faint strip of hair up to my navel for the last six months, and I get a 4.2 or 4.3 on the calculator. However, my penis recently grew half an inch in length. Isn’t that a sign of stage 3? Also, I have not grown in height in the last 5-6 months. Will I grow again?
Answer:
The penis can and usually does increase in length a bit during stage 4. It just doesn’t grow as much or as dramatically as in stage 3. Most of the growth during stage 4 is focused on increasing the penis’ girth.
It is common for growth in height to take pauses while the body focuses its energy on developing other parts of your body. After all, your larger body requires larger organs to support it. These changes don’t happen all at once. This is why we talk about the growth over six months or, better, over twelve months. You will increase some more in height. Usually, it is about 1 to 3 inches during stage 4. The growth is not as dramatic as in stage 3, but does continue.
