Question:
What stage of Tanner am I at?
- 13: 153
- 14: 160
- 15: 169
- 16: 174
- 16 and 7 months: 176
I have some facial hair, underarm hair, and hair behind the thighs.
Answer:
The reason the Tanner Stage Calculator exists is to answer these sorts of questions, though I understand the desire to get confirmation.
Based on your growth, you were in stage 3 from age 14 to 15, and you are currently halfway through stage 4 at age 16. I can’t say anything based on your hair because I can’t see the distribution and you didn’t give enough details.
Question:
Thanks for your answer. According to what you told me, I am in the middle of stage 4. How many centimeters can I expect to grow? How much growth time do I have left?
Answer:
Each stage lasts roughly two years. You have been in stage 4 for at least a year, perhaps a bit longer. Thus, you have less than a year left before all growth in height stops. Growth gradually slows down until it comes to a complete stop. Thus, I would guess that you will grow another 1 to 2 cm before you are completely done.
