When did I start puberty?

Question:

When would you say I began puberty if I started seeing little pubic hairs at about 11.4? Would that mean puberty began at 10?

Answer:

Most boys don’t notice the early signs of puberty. Pubic hair is commonly the first thing most boys notice. These typically start to be noticeable about halfway through stage 2. Since stage 2 lasts about two years, puberty (the start of stage 2) would have been about a year prior. In your case, it would have been around the time you were ten and a half.

Question:

So would that mean I will be done growing at 16.5 if puberty lasts 5-6 years?

Answer:

Yes. If you start early, you finish early. There are a few rare exceptions where boys progress slowly, but I doubt you will find yourself among them.
