Hypospadias is when the opening for the penis is not at the tip of the penis, but further down. It occurs in about 1 in 4,000 boys. In over half of these cases, the opening is still in the glans but angled slightly down from the tip. Such is considered mild and requires no intervention. More severe forms appear on the underside of the penis and require surgery to relocate the opening.
The important point is not that you were misled when you were younger, but that you now know what God has actually said about these matters.
