Is there any hormone blood test that I can do to find out how developed my body is?
Answer:
There have been studies that have successfully mapped hormone levels to development stages. [Elizabeth A. Shirtcliff, PhD, “Pubertal Development: Correspondence between hormonal and physical development,” NCBI, 1 September 2009.] But I don’t know of any generally administered test at this time. One of the difficulties is that each person has a different base hormone level and those levels fluctuate during the day and between days in cycles. Thus, any test would have to calculate the fluctuation ranges, requiring multiple tests over a period of time.
