Question:
Hi,
I got a Tanner Score of around 3.8. I’m 13 years old. I’m going through a growth spurt in height, but I noticed my penis grew a lot just before I grew in height and stopped when I went through my growth spurt. Why is that?
Answer:
While your penis grows in length during stage 3, the same stage as your growth spurt, your penis and the rest of your body don’t necessarily grow simultaneously. The reason is that you have limited energy available for growth. Since the body is focused on getting the maximum height, growth in other areas is paused. At some point, your growth spurt will pause for a bit and the rest of your body will grow to catch up, such as a larger heart, lungs, and liver.

Thank you for answering my question. Have a good day.
