I was wondering if you could predict my and my brother’s adult heights. I’ll just input the heights and Tanner stages at different ages if possible. He’s 17, and I’m 12. I’m 58 kg, and my brother is around 58-59 kg. Our parents are around 173-173.5 and 159 at their tallest.
Mine
- 10 years: 145 cm
- 11 years: 152-153 cm
- 12 years: 163 cm
Brother’s
- 12 years: 152-153 cm
- 13 years: 162 cm
- 14 years: 166-167 cm
- 15 years: 170-170.5 cm
- 16 years: 171 cm
- 17 years: 172 cm
We did the Tanner Stage Calculator, but I don’t know if it is accurate; however, I got 3.2, and my brother got 4.3. I don’t think this is right, but maybe somewhere close.
My feet are 26.5, and my brother’s are 25.5. Our hands are about the same length, my brother said his was 18.5, so mine might be longer by a millimeter, like 18.6. It is not noticeable at all unless measuring precisely.
Also, my brother told me he was sick for half a year when he was 15. He dropped from 55 to 49-50 kg, and for a whole 6 months, he did not grow in height, but his wingspan increased a little. He wants to know if that stunted his growth a little bit.

Since I can’t see you and your brother, and you didn’t mention any details about your development, I can’t comment on how accurate the Tanner Stage Calculator results were.
You had your growth spurt start at age 11. You are in stage 3, but I would have expected a result somewhere closer to stage 3.5.
Your brother had his growth spurt stage at age 12. He slowed down after two years. His illness would have come while he was in early-stage 4. Since he had already reached most of his height, I suspect that his time in stage 4 stretched a bit longer. Thus, I don’t believe he lost much height, if any, because his body made up for it. I would expect his result to be closer to 5.0 based on his growth.
I would expect your brother to be at his adult height or within a centimeter of it. I would expect your adult height to be between 178 cm and 182 cm.
