Question:
I was trying to get the measurements of my penis, and I needed an erection, so I started wagging it to get hard. After I took the measurement, I started ejaculating. Did I sin?
Answer:
Ejaculating semen is not a sin. You have two glands inside your body located just under your bladder. These glands, called the seminal vesicles, produce semen once you have reached a certain age of maturity and they will continue to produce semen for the rest of your life. When they get full, it is very easy for you to get sexually aroused, which often is seen by having erections. When you touch your penis while aroused, that makes the arousal stronger and your erection harder. Eventually, you reach a level where the pressure can’t be restrained and you ejaculate semen. Thus, all this is a physical process.
When it becomes wrong is when a boy chases after pleasure and starts using sinful ideas or images to get himself aroused. Having sex outside of marriage is wrong and lusting for something sinful is also wrong. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God” (I Thessalonians 4:3-5).
Response:
Thank you very much, sir.
