How do I trigger wet dreams?

Question:

I’m wanting to transition from not having to masturbate as often to release my sexual tension. Is there any way to increase the likelihood of nocturnal emissions? My tension is becoming more and more, but I don’t want to lean solely on masturbating because, not that I think it’s wrong, but I don’t want it to become a compulsive action that I could possibly become addicted to. (I don’t masturbate to any porn or fantasies at all.)

First, let me be clear that there are some boys who just never have a wet dream because they wake up before ejaculation occurs. They have erotic dreams but get no relief from them. I cannot tell you if you are among that number or not.

Others could have wet dreams but they don’t like the feelings that come as semen builds up in the seminal vesicles, so they resort to masturbating before the build-up is high enough to trigger a wet dream.

If you want to find out if you are able to have a wet dream, you have to be resolved to go without ejaculating for a while. It can take up to six weeks, though for most boys it will happen in under two weeks. When the sexual feeling gets to the point that you feel like you are going to go crazy if you don’t ejaculate, then you sleep naked that night. The change in feelings and the freedom for your penis to rub on the sheets will increase your arousal. It is very likely that you will have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep because you will be so wound up. Continue to sleep in the nude until you do ejaculate. Once you do, go back to wearing your normal sleepwear.

Repeat each time your sexual tension gets very strong. After several months, you will have no problems falling asleep and having an ejaculation. Eventually, you’ll end up ejaculating even though you haven’t taken your clothes off.

If you go weeks without ejaculation and find yourself acting odd when you not thinking about what you are doing, such as putting your hands down your pants or taking off your clothes at inappropriate times, then understand that you are among those who aren’t able to have a wet dream. Better to masturbate than do something foolish.

If you want to try reducing the number of times you masturbate, try skipping a day once a week. However, don’t be surprised if you find yourself needing to masturbate twice in one day a few days later. Just because you slow down how often you masturbate, it doesn’t mean your body will slow down its production.
